Podcast are good for teachers to have because it can help students who were not present or forgot some of the information.
Web site evaluation
The value of using an evaluation is that it can point out advantages and disadvantages of the website. Knowing the disadvantages can help you to warn others about the disappointing parts of the site.
I don't think you have to use a formal evaluation on every site you look at. Sites that give you information it is probably wise to evaluate, but not one that is just for fun and games.

I also had fun seeing all of the WebQuests. They must have taken a lot of work to create, but I think if you found the right one it would be a lot of fun in class. I think it would be a good WebQuest is one that teaches technology and allows creativity with the student.

I learned how important copyrighting is. There are rules that go along with it that you need to know, but when in doubt only use 10%.
Learning about the web quest was interesting. There are so many different kinds of learning such as project based, problem based, and inquiry based learning.

Lesson Plans & Articles: Technology can help a simple lesson plan and enhance it to help keep kids interested. Children love to use computers and smart boards or anything that doesn't involve writing with a pencil. My daughter Jessica's fourth grade teacher used PowerPoint's on a weekly basis. He made sure all his students knew how to create one and had them do a few reports using a PowerPoint. Every time my daughter would learn something new she would come home so excited about the new things she learned how to do on a computer and drag me to a computer and ATTEMPT to teach me and amazingly not losing patience when it would take 5 time for me to learn it..
Having technology helps students in their learning, but some of the old ways of teaching need to be keep ed around. Too much technology makes students a zombie of the outside world. When visiting with a friend, how many times do they actually hear their voice.
I defiantly don't have a problem with multitasking, but have become more aware of how many times I am doing homework for two different classes at the same time.
